The Headlanders Teams
Headlanders Minis
Age Group: Under 11
Our Minis program is where it all begins! Designed for young netball enthusiasts aged 5 and up, the Minis learn the basics of the game while having a blast on the court. They develop teamwork skills and have plenty of fun running around, setting the foundation for their netball journey.
Junior Development Teams
Age Groups: Under 11, Under 12, Under 13, Under 14, Under 15
Our junior development teams focus on nurturing confidence and skills in a supportive environment. Players learn to excel in different positions, build game strategies, and compete in local leagues around Durham and Stockton. It’s all about growth and enjoyment at this level!
Junior Performance Squads
Age Groups: Under 14, Under 16
The performance squads are for dedicated players aiming to take their netball to the next level. These teams compete at regional levels, facing tough competition and honing their skills through intense training and game experience. Players in these squads also have the opportunity to compete in senior netball leagues as well as competitions such as Sisters n Sport knockout cup.
Senior Regional Team
Our premier team comprises skilled, committed players competing at the highest levels regionally. With aspirations for promotion and success, they epitomise the spirit and competitiveness of Headlanders Netball Club.
Senior Performance Squads
Representing us in the esteemed Cleveland League, our top-tier squads face off against the best in the area. With two teams in division 1 and teams in divisions 2,3 & 4 spaces in these squads are hotly contested. These teams are a testament to our club’s dedication to excellence and competition.
Social League Teams
Divisions: 1, 2, 3 & 4
Our social league teams compete in the Durham League. These cater to a mix of abilities, providing a social yet competitive platform for players to enjoy the game and develop their skills. From social players to seasoned athletes, there’s a team for everyone to thrive and have fun. Players wishing to play at this level do not need to trial, just come along to training.
Back to Netball
Even if you haven’t played since school and want to rediscover your love of the game get in touch and come along to training. We have teams competing weekly in the Back to Netball League. Alternatively if you would just prefer to train and don’t yet feel confident enough to play that is also welcomed.
